A Study on the Relationship among Service Quality, Customer Satisfaction, Loyalty and Word of Mouth of Parent-child Hotel Tourism Products : A Case Study of Hainan Island

Understanding the behavior preferences of one of the parents with children aged 4-12 on the satisfaction, loyalty and reputation of tourism product service quality of Hainan parent-child hotel has become a key issue in Hainan parent-child hotel industry to attract parent-child tourists. Due to the special attributes of parent-child tourists, this type of tourists pursue novelty and convenience, pay attention to fashion, emphasize personalization and parent-child interaction content. However, Chinese scholars have little research on the satisfaction, loyalty, word-of-mouth and tourism product service quality of children tourists. Because foreign parent-child tourists are different in economy and culture, it is hoped that this study can understand the preference of Chinese parent-child tourists for Hainan tourism products and their attitude towards tourism products at this stage, and then formulate corresponding strategies to attract the attention of parent-child tourists. At the same time, it is also expected to have great reference value for the service quality of tourism products of Hainan parent-child hotel.
This paper takes the parents of 4-12-year-old children who have lived in Hainan parent-child hotel as the research object. Based on the SERVQUAL model, this paper discusses the relationship among service quality, customer satisfaction, customer loyalty and word-of-mouth of parent-child hotels, based on literature review, a theoretical model is constructed and research hypotheses are put forward. Using convenient sampling to carry out empirical investigation. SPSS21.0 software to collect data for descriptive statistical analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, correlation analysis, regression analysis, survey data processing-analysis-induction-verification. At last, the conclusion is drawn and the corresponding strategy suggestions are put forward.
According to the research results, the following six suggestions are provided for the management of parent-child hotels to improve the service quality of tourism products: 1. Optimize the product structure and enhance the competitiveness of hotels; 2. Improve the professional ability of employees and promote the development of parent-child hotels; 3. Strengthen the cooperation with neighboring countries and improve the convenience of life; 4. Get rid of the problem of homogenization; 5. Create the atmosphere of parent-child paradise and improve the brand image of the hotel; 6. The flow is transformed into stock, and the stock brings increment.
